Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to detect suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and employees.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, providing clear communication with emergency responders if necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior or theft attempts.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security equipment is advantageous.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification are highly desirable to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.75 per hour
