Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
This position is Friday and Saturday only. The hours will vary and are dependent on events booked at White Bear Country Inn & Rudy's Redeye Grill.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to law enforcement when necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques when required.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
