Job Summary
General Protective Services Enterprise, LLC is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers for the Montgomery County Yard Trim Composting Facility in Dickerson, MD. Officers will provide essential site security, patrols, and facility monitoring in alignment with state regulations and client requirements.

Responsibilities
- Monitor site entrances and exits
- Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of the facility using company-provided 4x4 vehicle with GPS
- Complete security logs and daily activity reports
- Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
- Maintain communication with site supervisors and MES representatives
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Experience
- Active Maryland State Police Security Guard Certification (COMAR 29.04.01 requirement) – REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – REQUIRED
- Experience in facility security, critical infrastructure, or similar industrial settings preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Able to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and follow GPS-tracked patrol routes
Compensation:
Minimum $18.00- $18.25, based on experience and subject to Montgomery County Living Wage Requirements.
- Uniform and gear provided.
