We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our tenants, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related matters.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior.
Skills
Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations calmly.
First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups.
