We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team as a daily employee. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

This is a daily role with a weekly commitment that typically does not exceed 16 hours on average.

Responsibilities

Greet, screen, and direct all visitors to company property following established procedures
Enforce Company security and parking policies consistently and fairly
Patrol Company property as requested, identifying and reporting safety and security hazards
Secure and/or unsecured properties as directed
Respond to medical, fire, security, and other safety related emergencies as trained
Write clear witness reports
Provide security presence at special events. production activities, including private screenings, parties, etc.
Assist in the placement and removal of barricades and posts and the opening and closing of gates for the direction of pedestrian and vehicular traffic
Monitor security equipment/technologies and report problems
Act as guest hosts, answering routine questions from visitors and employees, where appropriate

Required Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrates integrity in all forms of communication and action
Superior writing ability and command of basic English grammar
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic familiarity with computers, including MS Outlook e-mail and MS Word
Must possess valid California BSIS issued Guard Card and California Driver’s License
Demonstrate excellent decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision
Clear teamwork focus but also able to work independently when required
Creative thinker and highly adaptable
Work well under pressure
Ability to operate company transportation, including electric vehicles and bicycles
Physical ability to perform all responsibilities as listed above
Ability to work flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Valid certificates for CPR, First Aid, and AED.

The pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $23.64 per hour.
