Location: Aloha Lani Condo, 2211 Ala Wai Blvd., Honolulu, Hawii
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Shift: 6am-2pm, 2-10pm and 10pm to 6am

Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to join our team at Aloha Lani Condo Association. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, guests, and property by monitoring access points, patrolling the premises, and responding to security incidents. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle security concerns with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control: Monitor and regulate entry to the property, verifying resident and guest credentials as required.
Patrolling: Conduct regular foot patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity and identify security risks.
Incident Response: Address security concerns, respond to alarms, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
Resident Assistance: Provide assistance to residents with security-related concerns and enforce community rules and regulations.
Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and review security cameras, report suspicious activity, and maintain accurate logs of security incidents.
Report Writing: Document and report incidents, maintenance issues, and any safety concerns to management.
Emergency Preparedness: Follow security protocols in case of emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or disturbances.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills for logging reports and monitoring security systems.
Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Valid security guard license (if required by state regulations).
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Must have current Hawaii Guard Card.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Outdoor and indoor work environments with possible exposure to varying weather conditions.
