Apollo Security is seeking a professional and vigilant Unarmed Residential Security Officer to join our team at a high-end condominium community. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

As a visible presence on-site, you will serve as both a security professional and a customer service representative—ensuring controlled access, monitoring daily activity, and responding effectively to incidents. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will contribute to a well-managed and secure residential environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor property surveillance systems (CCTV) and access control points to ensure safety and security at all times
Control access to the building by verifying residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with property policies
Conduct routine foot patrols of common areas, parking facilities, amenities, and perimeter to identify and report security risks
Maintain a strong front desk presence, providing professional assistance and direction to residents and visitors
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and resident concerns
De-escalate conflicts using professional communication and sound judgment
Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff notes with accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate with property management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary
Enforce community rules, regulations, and safety procedures consistently and fairly

Qualifications

Previous experience in residential security, concierge, or customer service roles preferred
Valid security license (as required by state regulations)
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and general security practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to remain calm, alert, and responsive in high-pressure situations
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently, especially during overnight shifts
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus in residential communities
