The Credentials Clerk performs a broad range of administrative duties and reports directly to the Ticketing Supervisor. This position is responsible for selling, receiving, and processing tickets and parking credentials for Fairplexs self-produced events or event credential orders for a third party. Additionally the credentials clerk supports the year round production of employee and partner identification for Fairplex grounds and parking access.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Answering a high volume of incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
Answer emails and assist with on-site inquiries and issues
Assist the Ticketing Supervisor and Credentials Lead to ensure all reporting numbers are up-to-date and accurate
Filing paperwork alphabetically
Entering data on Excel spreadsheets
Run ticketing reports for departments as needed
Selling, taking, and processing admission, parking, concert, and attraction tickets for customers
Processing orders from various departments
Process badge request forms for various departments, assist FinishLine with VIP cards, and process access cards
Query database for cross-promotional activities
Ensure customer needs are met and all reporting numbers are accurate
Process Purchase Orders and Work Orders
Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Completion of high school education or GED
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel is necessary
Must have good general computer skills
Ability to type 40 wpm
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of customer service
Ability to work well with people
Ability to communicate on the telephone effectively
Fluency in another language is a plus

Physical Requirements Of Job

Must be able to work in extreme weather, such as heat, cold, or rain
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to move around the office and fairgrounds
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
Must be able to climb up and down stairs and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to use a telephone, hand-held radio, and computer
