Job Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and property within the manufacturing facility during assigned shifts.
You will be the first line of defense against unauthorized access and potential threats, ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrolling and Monitoring:
- Regularly patrol designated areas of the facility, both on foot and via vehicle, to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Access Control:
- Control and monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Manage visitor access, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Secure all entrances and exits, locking doors and gates as needed.
Incident Response:
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Document all incidents and activities in accordance with company policy.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in need.
Security Procedures:
- Conduct routine security checks of buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Follow all security protocols and procedures, including those related to access control, emergency response, and incident reporting.
Communication:
- Maintain clear and concise communication with supervisors and other security personnel via radio or other communication devices.
- Provide accurate and timely information to relevant authorities in the event of an incident.
Other Duties:
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications:

Previous experience in security preferred.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
Valid driver's license may be required depending on the specific duties of the position.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Nights 5:00pm-5:00am
