ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Security Guard at Nooks, you’ll help keep our people, spaces, and information safe. You’ll work on-site to monitor access, patrol the facility, and respond to any issues that come up. We’ll rely on you to stay alert, follow procedures, and help create a secure and professional environment.

This is a great opportunity if you're early in your career and looking to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven security environment. This is contract position with the opportunity to turn into a full time role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1-2 years of experience in a professional setting
Greet and check in employees, visitors, and vendors—making sure only authorized people enter the site
Patrol the building and perimeter regularly to ensure everything is secure
Watch for unusual activity and report anything out of the ordinary
Monitor cameras, alarms, and badge readers as needed
Respond to on-site incidents and follow emergency procedures
Keep clear and accurate notes in daily activity logs and incident reports
Follow security policies and support a safe, respectful workplace

THE SKILLSET:

Strong attention to detail—you notice when something’s off
Comfortable interacting with others and speaking up when needed
Dependable and punctual—you show up ready to do the job
Able to stay calm in stressful situations
Willing to follow procedures and learn new systems

Note: This is a 1099 contractor position

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
