Job Overview
As an Overnight Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment during the night hours. Your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the protection of property and personnel while deterring potential threats. You’ll be the first line of defense, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents with confidence and professionalism.

What you’ll do

Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any security breaches or safety hazards.
Operate and monitor I-Pad monitoring systems to maintain surveillance over critical areas.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.
Provide first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) assistance when required, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.

Experience

Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of security protocols.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and monitoring equipment is essential for effective performance in this role.
Training or experience in first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
Military background is a plus, showcasing discipline and commitment to safety.
Strong conflict management skills are necessary for handling various situations calmly and effectively.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while remaining alert and attentive at all times.
