Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity.
Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, exits, and perimeter fences.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
Enforce security policies by controlling access points and verifying identification of visitors and staff.
Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities for accountability and review.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities.
Provide assistance to visitors or employees as needed, ensuring a welcoming yet secure environment.

Skills

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are advantageous.
Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems.
Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
