Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property
Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors and staff
Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting health emergencies with confidence and professionalism
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and conflict management techniques
Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies effectively
Background in security, military, or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and response capabilities
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally
Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and prevent theft
