Overview
Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and dedication will help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. In this role, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring safety protocols are followed, monitoring surveillance systems, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a secure atmosphere that fosters confidence and peace of mind for everyone on site.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety compliance
Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary
Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks in shift reports
Support emergency response procedures, including administering first aid or CPR when required

Requirements

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and security protocols
Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and focus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and visitors
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively

Pay: $24.00 - $27.87 per hour
