Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior
Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and intervening in theft or vandalism attempts
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks through shift reports
Assist in conflict management by calmly resolving disputes and de-escalating tense situations

Skills

Strong understanding of surveillance technology including CCTV systems
Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations professionally
Basic first aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and legal considerations in security operations
Experience or background in military, law enforcement, or security roles is highly advantageous
Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance monitoring
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
