As a Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and incidents are managed efficiently. Duties

Monitor access points to control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to oversee property areas and detect suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
Perform security checks, including inspections of bags, packages, and personnel to prevent theft or unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for accountability and review.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing behaviors that could indicate theft or vandalism.

Requirements

Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.
Certification in first aid and CPR to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations professionally.
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when necessary.
