Duties

Monitor premises to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security issues or hazards
Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting access to the facility
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
Observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel during investigations or urgent situations

Skills

Strong observational skills attention to detail during surveillance and patrols
Excellent conflict management abilities to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
Familiarity security protocols techniques
Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances effectiveness in this role
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
