Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to safeguarding people and property without the use of weapons.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
Observe and report any irregularities or security breaches promptly and accurately
Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized personnel enter designated areas
Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment
Respond professionally to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism
Document incidents thoroughly in reports and communicate effectively with team members
Uphold company policies and safety standards at all times

Experience

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is advantageous
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
Demonstrated conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols
Strong observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse environments
