We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard Rover to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering open post with some dedicated hours while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and personnel.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and detect suspicious behavior.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Assist in conflict management situations with de-escalation techniques.
- Provide first aid or CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
Skills
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment operation (CCTV).
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
