Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Manage conflicts effectively to prevent escalation of situations.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
- Experience in conflict management and de-escalation strategies is a plus.
- Military background or training may be beneficial for certain positions.
