Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol designated areas to prevent and address any potential security breaches.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance as necessary.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Enforce rules and regulations regarding safety and security on site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Must process or be able to obtain a MD Security Guard Card
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in security is desired.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
