Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks.
- Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
- Assist in conflict management situations, de-escalating tensions when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Certification in security training or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
