We are seeking dependable and professional candidates who take pride in delivering exceptional service. As a Security Guard at New Orleans RV Resort & Marina, you will serve and safeguard our guests by providing a visible, welcoming presence and helping to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution-oriented manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the park and surrounding perimeter.
Greet and assist guests, providing a friendly and professional presence.
Monitor vehicle and foot traffic entering and exiting the park.
Maintain a safe and orderly environment throughout the property.
Secure park facilities, including closing and locking the bar and restaurant.
Report suspicious activity or concerns to park management.
Assist with late guest check-ins as needed.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age (this is an unarmed position).
Valid Security Officer certificate preferred, but not required.
Availability to work Thursday through Sunday is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have reliable transportation.
