The ideal candidate will be professional and customer service focused. Our security guards help to protect our clients’ premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and serve as a deterrent to all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Trespass violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents and all activity during your shift
- Patrol randomly or regularly both building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Work as an extension to our customers' needs
- Be professional at all times
Skills
- Valid AZ Guard Card (No guard card, no problem! As long as you don't have a criminal record, we can help you obtain one!)
- Valid drivers license
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position helpful but not mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols helpful
- Surveillance skills and detail orientated
- Integrity and professionalism a must
- Outstanding customer service skills are beneficial
- Ability to display empathy to those less fortunate
- Communicate well with management and other members of the staff
