We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules and responding to incidents. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to oversee premises effectively.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety hazards.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; additional security certifications are a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
