Overview
OHI are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information for investigations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Skills
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle disputes and de-escalate tense situations.
- Experience in loss prevention techniques to safeguard assets effectively.
- Proficient in surveillance operations, including the use of CCTV systems for monitoring activities.
- A background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in critical situations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and visitors professionally.
