Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related roles is desirable not required.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.
- Strong skills in conflict management and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods while patrolling facilities.
- A valid security guard license may be required based on local regulations.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
