Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to incidents effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized activity, theft, vandalism, and other security risks
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports as required
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during investigations or emergencies
- Assist visitors and employees with security-related concerns
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license
- Prior security is a plus
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation is a plus
- Background in loss prevention strategies, military, or law enforcement is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physically capable of standing, walking, or lifting as required
