Summary
The Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock stadium are looking for full-time security personnel dedicated to providing excellent security service for Hard Rock Stadium. This role will be ideal for candidates with keen attention to detail and strong integrity to always keep the venue safe and secure simultaneously upholding consistent 24-hour surveillance.
Location
This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. This position pays $30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Patrol interior and exterior property to ensure access points are secure
- Record incident reports and funnel to onsite shift leaders, security management and other related departments as needed
- Maintain annual CPR training certification
- Execute a thorough security screening for all staff and guests that enter stadium property including bag checks, and utilization of handheld and walk through magnetometers
- Monitor stadium guest access system to ensure all stadium guests are recorded
- Monitor fire/burglar alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems in the Command Center during normal operations and stadium events
- Greet stadium guests and log visitors into the security system while preserving Hard Rock Stadium service culture
- Maintain a strong understanding of stadium layout, policies and procedures and proactively provide assistance to guests and staff during emergency situations and adhere to safety rules
- Respond quickly and accurately to security incidents while sustaining firm and consistent communication
- Accurately record action items such as call-ins, gate visits and unusual CCTV activity during shift in 24/7 software to produce precise shift reports
- Adhere to ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- 2 years of security or event experience preferred
- Associate or bachelor's degree in related studies preferred
- Class D security license preferred
- Previous Military or Law enforcement experience preferred
- Experience in conflict resolution/de-escalation preferred
- Must have the ability to anticipate needs, assess situations and act accordingly
- Willingness to work nights, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to work both shifts. Shift 1 (6am - 2pm), Shift 2 (2 pm - 10pm)
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service to Hard Rock Stadium guests and employees in addition to maintaining a professional appearance.
