Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities and maintain security.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any irregularities encountered during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniques is essential.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and the public.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while making sound decisions.
