We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities and maintain security records.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential disturbances or confrontations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious behavior.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities within the premises.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
