Summary
As a Security Officer, you will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will utilize your core skills in security and conflict management to effectively handle various situations. Your premium skills in law enforcement and first aid will be invaluable in emergencies, while your relevant skills in CCTV and loss prevention will enhance our security measures. Requirements
Must be able to perform with limited or no supervision, carry out pre-determined and recurring tasks.
- Conduct random patrols throughout their shift.
- Must be able to operate the magnetometer and security wand to process employees and visitors.
- Must have at least two (2) years experience in contract or proprietary security and/or Military or Law Enforcement experience within the past five years.
- Must be a US citizen and at least 21 years old.
- Must be fluent in English with the ability to read and understand printed regulations, written orders, and instructions.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills required; Must be able to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
- Must be physically and mentally fit and capable of performing all normal emergency security duties and responsibilities.
- Must not have a history of substance abuse or domestic violence or any criminal acts.
The successful candidate must possess a current Hawaii Unarmed Security Guard License.
The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s license.
A physical exam is required, along with a drug and alcohol test.
