Job Description:
Strategic Security Inc. is seeking a diligent and reliable Unarmed Security Guard for a marina site in Port Henry, NY.
This position requires 24/7 coverage for an initial period of two weeks, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the construction site.
We are looking for full-time or part-time retired veterans.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site, including the parking lot and pool area, ensuring they are safe and secure.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
- Report any unusual incidents, emergencies, or security breaches to the appropriate personnel.
- Document daily activities and observations in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Control access to the site.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid security guard license.
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a construction or similar environment.
- Ability to work 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from the site.
- Must have a reliable phone for communication.
- Strong observational and reporting skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
