Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities in designated areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action as necessary.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks or breaches in security.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- CPR certification and First Aid training are highly desirable.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is preferred.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
