Security Guard
Salary: $2,436/month
Location: Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) – On-site
About the Role:
MTMHI is looking for dedicated Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This role involves patrolling the facility, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure Safety & Security: Patrol the facility, monitor alarms, and respond to emergencies.
- Control Access: Verify identification, authorize entry, and escort individuals as needed.
- Incident Response: Address security concerns, intervene in disturbances, and assist in crisis situations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs, write incident reports, and communicate with supervisors and law enforcement.
- Operate Security Equipment: Utilize cameras, radios, patrol vehicles, and other security systems.

- High school diploma or equivalent (law enforcement/security experience can substitute).
