Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents effectively. The Security Guard will also be expected to utilize surveillance equipment and apply conflict management skills when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or violations of policies to management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and conflict management techniques is essential.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and vigilant at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals in various situations.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $20.93 - $25.21 per hour
