Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at Blue Life Security. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. A background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and property to prevent theft or vandalism.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and respond to incidents as they arise.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
- Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations to maintain peace.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required for investigations or emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to operate CCTV equipment effectively.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
