TNT Security, Inc. is now hiring for full and part-time security guard positions. Please apply online through Indeed or in person at 421 N. Main St. Suite 206.

General Duties;

Patrol on foot or in vehicle client property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, gates, etc.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or the presence of unauthorized persons.

Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.

Warn persons of rule infractions or policy violations, and evict violators from premises when necessary

Skills;

Reading Comprehension -- Applicant must be able to effectively understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

Active Listening -- Applicant must be able to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Speaking -- Applicant must be able to effectively communicate with others to convey information.

Writing -- Applicant must be able to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

Service Orientation -- Applicant must be of the mindset and ability to look for ways to help people.

Experience;

Experience preferred, but not required. Those with a background / experience in law enforcement, military, or security will be given preference over those without, but we will train the right candidate if needed. Those with a Merchant Patrolman's License will also be given preference over those without.

Applicants must have a clean criminal history.
