Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant Security Guard / Security Custodian to maintain a secure environment in Pascagoula, MS. This role requires an active security clearance and involves verifying identification, controlling access to restricted areas, logging entries and exits, and enforcing security protocols. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify IDs and control access to restricted areas.
- Log all entries and exits accurately.
- Patrol and monitor premises, including CCTV systems.
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Enforce rules and maintain order to prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.
- Implement loss prevention and safety measures.
Requirements:
- Active security clearance required.
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Strong observational and conflict management skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
