Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and any suspicious activity is reported promptly. A background in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly valued.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required to address security concerns.
Experience
- Event security eperience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
