Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, patrol assigned areas, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within designated areas.
- Respond quickly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary until professional help arrives.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict management situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV) is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring surroundings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
