Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and conflict management while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Document incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate situations effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is an asset.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Type: Contract
Projected Total Compensation: $20.05 - $24.14 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
