Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent conflicts.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
