Overview
Taurus Protection Inc. is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and identify potential security threats.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for incident reporting or investigations.
- Participate in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Qualifications
- Must have current Guard Card
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have own Smart phone
