1. SUMMARY
Provide security for Metalor’s assets and personnel.
2. KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
2.1 High School diploma, GED, or required experience for the position.
3. SKILL REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Leadership skills.
3.2 Basic math skills.
3.3 Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
3.4 Ability to handle multiple duties.
3.5 Independent judgment skills required.
3.6 Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
4. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Prior experience as a security guard preferred.
5. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5.1 Must have a valid driver’s license.
6. TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
6.1 Continuous monitoring of CCTV.
6.2 Learn to monitor operation of dispatched Metalor transportation vehicles.
6.3 Learn how to gross weigh designated outgoing products.
6.4 Learn how to perform certain production checks as required.
6.5 Assume control of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors entering and leaving production area, to include scanning when necessary.
6.6 Learn how to prepare shipping lists and enter information into in-house computer system.
6.7 Maintain a clean and organized work area.
6.8 Perform other duties or assignments as required by the Director of Security.
6.9 Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
6.10 Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
6.11 Must be able to twist, bend, and reach.
6.12 Must be able to follow all of the company’s safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
