Job Description
We/VTCR are seeking highly energized, ethical and professional security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. The ideal candidates/security guards will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent any illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities
- Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Monitor sensitive areas of the property to prevent theft
· Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
· Monitor entry and exit points of the facility to include potential random bag checks of employees and visitors.
· Respond to calls for emergency situations within the facility
· Report in detail on any suspicious incidents
· Monitor and control parking and traffic control and safety concerns in parking lots and exterior points
· Perform first aid or CPR if necessary
Requirements
- Proven work experience (preferably 2-5 years) as a security guard and/or service member in US or other countries Armed Forces
- Prefer Virginia DCJS Certification
- Excellent knowledge of security procedures/protocols
- Integrity and professionalism
- High school degree
