Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents requiring security intervention.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access to facilities.
- Provide assistance in conflict management and de-escalation of potentially volatile situations.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR, with the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle disputes professionally.
- Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in maintaining safety.

- Currently hiring for on-call positions. This is not a full-time opportunity at the moment, it's on-call contracts. If selected you will join our agency database and as jobs come in, you will be informed directly & you can choose to work based on your availability.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
