Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, enforcing safety protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is preferred, along with certifications in first aid and CPR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate potential issues.
- Perform loss prevention activities by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or damage.
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
