Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. Responsibilities
- Monitor all entry and exit points to control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors using surveillance systems and physical checks.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Operate CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) cameras for continuous surveillance of the property and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance in case of medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring suspicious activities and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for record-keeping and analysis.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Assist in emergency evacuations or other safety procedures as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems effectively.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices within retail or corporate environments is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring premises and identifying risks.
