Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Check in customers
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors to control access points effectively.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism attempts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents to ensure swift resolution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform surveillance using CCTV systems with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected.
- Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations responsibly.
